The Main Event of the 2022 Pure Poker Tour #2 is now underway. The action is in Level 3 right now with 44 entries and 42 players still at the tables.
The current prize pool is already over $40k with most of Day 1a still to go and a full Day 1b yet to run on Saturday. Among the players in the game so far are Michael “Berny” Bernstein, winner of the PLO Triple Stack last night, Cindy Laycock Kerslake, Thomas Taylor, Ron Lauzon, Ron Giles, Harminder Aujla, Ryan Comely, Kyle Hi, Allison Bullock (who was second in the Player of the Series race in the last PPT), Ali Khani (Winner of the last PoS race), Takuma Bergeron, Maciej Baumgart, Karim Chatur, Jimmy Lee, Caterine Nini Ng, Annie Li, Ryan Smith, Ryan Comely, Pete Fylyma, and many others.
They are scheduled to play eight levels of poker plus 75 minutes of breaks before registration closes, and a total of 14 levels of poker before they bag and tag for Day 1a. As always, if they play down to 14% of the field before the end of Level 14, they’ll end the day and bag up the chips early.
