It’s a big starting day here at the second running of the 2021/22 WSOP Circuit Calgary series. Opening day features the $400 Double Stack event, a one-day event with 25-minute blinds and a 30k starting stack.
The day got underway with more than 100 entries, and that soon ballooned up to more than 200 entries before the first break. Before the first break of the day, the prize pool is already over $70k with first place likely to pay around $12.5k at the current levels.
Once Level 5 is complete they’ll head out for their first break of the day, then return to play five more levels of poker. After that, they’ll take their second break, and when they resume play for Level 11, registration for Event #1 will be closed.
