Deerfoot Summer Super Stack

The dog days of summer are upon us now, and southern Alberta is baking under the summer sun. Get into the shade and air conditioning of Deerfoot Inn & Casino starting this week where you can escape the summer heat with some red-hot poker action.

The games get underway on Wed Aug 3rd with the first satellites. There are two satellite games running Wednesday, with a $280 satellite to Events 7 & 9 (1 in 8.5 win) starting at 2pm, and $280 game at 7pm with 1 in 9.9 players winning seats to Events 1, 7, & 9.

The series proper gets underway on Thursday with Day 1a of the $340 Deepstack. There are three starting days in total for the first event before the final day plays out Sunday Aug 7. There will also be another satellite to Events 1, 7, & 9 starting at 7pm on Thursday.

There will likely be two new bracelet winners (at least) amongst the crowd this series as well. Jerry (Pei) Li bagged a bracelet early in the series, and Paul Brar managed to bag one in the dying days of the series.
