Satellite to Everything

The first satellite for the Pure Poker Tour #3 is set to run today with the action kicking off at 1pm at Edmonton’s Pure Casino Edmonton. This satellite is a longer structure than many with 30 minute blinds, and the higher buy-in is rewarded with tickets to every open event in the series.

One in nine entries will bag a ticket package, which gives entry into every game except for the opening Seniors event, which is restricted to 50+. Blinds are 30 minutes long, and there will be eight levels plus two breaks before the end of registration.

That should put the close of entries around 5:30 pm Sunday so there will be lots of time to get into the game. Players start the game with 20,000 chips which, combined with the longer blinds, should mean there is a fair bit more play in this satellite game than usual.

The total value of the ticket package is just under $4,000 and it will include tickets for Events 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. See below for the full structure sheet for today’s satellite.
